IMD warns of rising temperatures & heat waves in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, Ap 27: The heatwave conditions prevailed across Odisha on Saturday due to a high temperature.

According to the Regional Meteorological Office here, Talcher (36.8), Keonjhar (34.8), Rourkela (34.8), Bolangir (34.8), Bhawanipatna (34), Balasore (34), Boudh (34), Angul (33.6), Angul (33.6), Bhubaneswar (33.4), Jagatsinghpur (33.4), Bhadrak (33), Titlagarh (33), Cuttack (33), and Jajpur (33).

According to the IMD's forecast, there will be a gradual increase in maximum temperatures by 2 to 3 degrees across various regions of Odisha over the next three days. 

Additionally, the IMD has issued red warnings for severe heat waves in several areas of Odisha. 

They recommend that individuals take precautionary measures when venturing outdoors, particularly during the peak hours of 11 am to 3 pm.
