IMD warns heavy rainfall in Odisha for next few days

Bhubaneswar, August 7: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rainfall in Odisha for the next few days. IMD has issued warnings for Odisha due to the development of a low-pressure area.

Day 1 (Up to 08:30 IST, 08.08.2024)

Orange Warning: Heavy to very heavy rainfall (7 to 20 cm) and thunderstorms with lightning in Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Koraput, and Nabarangpur.

Yellow Warning: Heavy rainfall (7 to 11 cm) and thunderstorms with lightning in Malkangiri, Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jajpur, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Angul, Boudh, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Nuapada, Bolangir, and Sonepur.

Day 2 (08:30 IST, 08.08.2024 to 08:30 IST, 09.08.2024)

Yellow Warning: Heavy rainfall (7 to 11 cm) in Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Sonepur, and Bolangir.

Day 3 (08:30 IST, 09.08.2024 to 08:30 IST, 10.08.2024)

Yellow Warning: Heavy rainfall (7 to 11 cm) in Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, and Deogarh.

Day 4 (08:30 IST, 10.08.2024 to 08:30 IST, 11.08.2024)

Yellow Warning: Heavy rainfall (7 to 11 cm) in Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, and Deogarh.
