Bhubaneswar, Mar 9: Following a significant drop in daytime temperatures due to light to moderate rainfall, hot and humid conditions are expected to pose challenges for the population, as per forecasts from the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
According to the IMD, there will be no major change in the maximum and minimum temperature for the next two days. However, a gradual increase in temperature is anticipated starting from March 11, 2024. The forecast suggests that maximum temperatures may rise by 4 to 6 degrees Celsius across various regions of the state.
IMD's Friday Forecast:
Day 2 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 09.03.2024 to 0830 hrs IST of 10.03.2024): Light to moderate rain/thundershowers are expected at one or two places in South Coastal Odisha, Cuttack, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Bolangir, Boudh, Nabarangpur.
Day 3 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 10.03.2024 to 0830 hrs IST of 11.03.2024): Light rain/thundershowers are likely at one or two places in Koraput, Gajapati, Rayagada, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur.
