Bhubaneswar, July 31: The IMD has predicted heavy rainfall for several Odisha districts during the next 48 hours following formation of a cyclonic circulation over the Bay of Bengal.
Heavy to very heavy rainfall (7 to 20 cm) is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Jajpur, Angul, Dhenkanal and Heavy rainfall (7 to 11cm) very is likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Bargarh, Jagatsinghpur on Thursday, said IMD in its evening bulletin for Odisha.
Similarly, it has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall (7 to 20 cm) at one or two places over the districts of Angul, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Boudh, Sonepur, Sambalpur and Heavy rainfall (7 to 11cm) at one or two places over the districts of Bhadrak, Balasore, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Bolangir, Nuapada, Nayagarh, Khurda, Jagatsinghpur, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and Kalahandi on Friday.
