IMD predicts 4 days rain in several Odisha districts

Bhubaneswar, Sep 18: Under the influence of a low-pressure area formed in the Bay of Bengal, several districts of Odisha are likely to receive light to moderate rain with isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall till September 21.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD)'s regional centre informed on Monday that in the next four days rains, thunderstorms and lightning are expected across the state. 

The IMD predictions implied that people of Odisha are likely to celebrate the twin festivals ('Ganesh Chaturthi' on Tuesday and 'Nuakhai' on Wednesday) in adverse weather conditions.
