IMD issues yellow warning for these districts of Odisha

Bhubaneswar, Aug 19: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a nowcast warning for rain and lightning for five districts of Odisha.

These districts include Nabarangapur, Nuapada, Bargarh, Jharsuguda, and Sundargarh.

Another cyclonic circulation is likely to develop on August 25. Due to this, the intensity of rain is likely to increase in Odisha from August 23.

People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
