Bhubaneswar, August 18: The IMD Regional Center on Friday issued thundershowers with lightning for at least four districts of Odisha.
In a newscast issued by the climate experts, the IMD said light to moderate rain followed by thundershowers with lightning was likely to affect some parts of districts in Angul, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, and Kandhamal during the next three hours.
People are advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes. Similarly, the fishermen and sailors have been asked to remain on alert for any weather-related outbreak and advised not to venture into deep water during the peak hours.
