Bhubaneswar, Sept 4: A student from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Arugul campus in Bhubaneswar has died after falling from a hostel building.
The deceased has been identified as Kritika Raj, a third-year student from Delhi.
While the exact cause of Raj's death remains ascertained, authorities suspect that it may have been a suicide.
Sources indicate that Raj had visited her home ten days before the incident.
Being informed, police reached the spot and seized Raj’s body and sent it to Capital Hospital for an autopsy. An investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding her death.
