​​​​​​​Bhubaneswar, Dec 26: Ace teacher & renowned Educationist Dinabandhu Satapathy is no more.

He passed away on Friday at his Bhubaneswar residence.

Beginning his career as a teacher in the Laxmi Narayan Vidyapitha at Kasarda, Niali in Odisha’s Cuttack district, had clinched as an Ideal teacher in the state. Meanwhile, he worked as HM in the LN Vidyapitha & the Khan Nagar HS and earned a good fame for his discipline & morale.

Apart from imparting scholastic education and valuesn Late Satapathy was one of the educationists in the Cuttack district to fight for educational rights of the people. Meanwhile, he established a number of educational institutions with his own endeavour and school of thoughts.

He had contributed a lot in establishing the Dolagobinda Brajakishore Mahavidyalay at Kasarda where he involved himself in mobilizing funds for the institution and sensitizing mass towards education.

Leading a simpler life, Satapathy was well-known for his inducting educational movements and organisatinal skills in & around the Niali cluster.

With the demise of the great soul, educational fraternities and students offered a tearful adieu to late Satapathy, visiting his residence at Bhimatangi Bhubaneswar.
