Dry conditions will persist across the state this week

Citizens across the region should prepare for a consistent climate over the coming week. Current reports indicate that dry conditions are dominating the state, bringing stable days and nights. Officials from the Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar confirmed that no significant synoptic systems are currently active.

Temperature Trends Across Districts Maximum heat levels have seen a slight drop of about two degrees Celsius in isolated pockets, remaining mostly unchanged elsewhere. Conversely, nighttime cold has slightly decreased, with minimum readings climbing by two to three degrees in certain locations. Data shows Mahisapat and Jharsuguda experiencing the highest daytime heat, reaching up to 36.5°C and 36.4°C respectively. Meanwhile, Phulbani recorded the chilliest night at 15.5°C.

Forecast For Upcoming Days Meteorologists project no major shifts in either day or night temperatures for the next five days. Dry weather is highly likely to continue undisturbed across all districts. Furthermore, authorities have issued zero weather warnings for the upcoming seven days, ensuring a calm period for residents and farmers alike.

Capital City Outlook Bhubaneswar residents can expect some early morning fog or mist, which will quickly give way to mainly clear skies. Heat in the capital city is anticipated to hover around 37°C during peak hours, while nighttime temperatures will settle near 23°C. Previous observations logged a high of 36.2°C and a low of 22.5°C in the city, with humidity peaking at 92 percent.
