Bhubaneswar, Feb 13: In a tragic incident, a BTech student died on Friday in Bhubaneswar after falling into a ditch resulted by deep quarrying.

The deceased has been Identified as N Aditya Abhijit, a lad from Unit 6 area in the city who was pursuing Engineering studies in a Bhubaneswar-based private institute.

According to report, Aditya , accompanied by four friends had been in an outing trip to a scenic place near the Chandaka Sanctuary. Meanwhile, he slipped into a deep ditch during photo shooting and went missing in the water.

On being alerted , the Chandrasekharpur Police and Fire fighters team rushed to the spot and initiated a seach operation.However, they fished out the body after hour-long efforts.

A case was registered in this connection. Further investigation is underway to ascertain the precise reason behind the guy’s death, said police.
