Bhograi, Dec 3: A massive shark weighing 2 quintals and 10 kilograms has been caught in the fishing nets of local fishermen at the Digha International Fish Landing Center. The fish, which was caught by a trawler operating in the deep seas, has attracted crowds from nearby areas.

Once brought to the landing center for sale, the shark's unusual size and appearance drew large crowds of tourists and local residents. The sight of the enormous fish created a buzz, with people flocking to the center to catch a glimpse of it.

Fishermen explained that different parts of the shark are used in medicinal practices, which has contributed to its high demand. The shark’s valuable parts are sought after for their potential therapeutic properties, further increasing interest in the creature.
