Bhubaneswar, Aug 18: A video showing former Odisha Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Naveen Patnaik interacting with doctors at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar has gone viral. Patnaik, who was undergoing treatment for dehydration, can be seen assuring his well-wishers by saying, "I am fine," as he converses with a medical professional during his recovery.

Patnaik was admitted to the hospital on Sunday afternoon around 5:15 pm due to dehydration. After receiving prompt treatment, his condition has stabilized, and he is currently under observation.
This incident marks the latest in a series of health issues faced by Patnaik, who had previously undergone surgery at Kokilaben Hospital and was also reported to be unwell during the recent election period.
As a five-time Chief Minister of Odisha, Patnaik has played a pivotal role in the state’s progress. His health update has sparked widespread attention, with many residents wishing him a swift recovery.
The state’s Health Minister, Mukesh Mahaling, is reportedly in regular contact with the medical team treating Patnaik. At present, the former CM’s condition is said to be stable.
