Bhubaneswar, Jan 12: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi extended his congratulations to the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) following the successful launch of PSLV-C62, which carried the EOS-N1 Earth observation satellite along with 15 co-passenger satellites.

In a post on X, the CM praised the achievement, calling it a testament to India’s growing strength in space technology. He wished the ISRO team continued success in their future missions.

“Heartiest congratulations to @ISRO on the successful launch of PSLV-C62 carrying EOS-N1 along with 15 co-passenger satellites. This remarkable achievement highlights India’s prowess in space technology. Wishing the entire team continued success in future missions,” the Chief Minister wrote.

On Monday, ISRO made its first launch of 2026 with the EOS-N1 satellite, also known as Anwesha. The satellite was launched aboard the PSLV-C62 rocket during its 64th flight from the First Launch Pad (FLP) at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota, at 10:17 am IST.

The launch is aimed at enhancing India’s remote sensing capabilities, with particular focus on agriculture, urban mapping, and environmental monitoring.

“Liftoff! PSLV-C62 launches the EOS-N1 Mission from SDSC-SHAR, Sriharikota,” ISRO shared in a post on the social media platform X.
