He urged everyone to remain dedicated to the vision of building a developed Odisha by 2036.

Speaking at the Odisha State Day celebrations on the ninth day of the 44th India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2025, the Chief Minister emphasized that this year’s theme truly represents Odisha’s aspirations and immense possibilities.

He highlighted that with the successful use of advanced technologies, Odisha is poised to establish a new identity in the production of high-precision, cutting-edge products such as silicon semiconductor chips.

This, he noted, will strengthen the state’s economy and create significant new employment opportunities.

The Chief Minister also underscored the government’s priority areas, which include renewable energy production, large-scale plantation drives to maintain ecological balance, and policy initiatives designed to leave behind a healthier and more beautiful planet for future generations.

He stressed that formulating and effectively implementing such policies remains central to the government’s developmental agenda.

Highlighting Odisha’s growing prominence on the global stage, Majhi mentioned that initiatives such as Utkarsha Odisha: Make-in-Odisha Conclave are successfully attracting leading industrialists and investors from around the world.

Similarly, Odisha’s skilled youth and their innovative start-ups are gaining international visibility.

He also noted that the recent International Millet Convention, which showcased Odisha’s heritage grains—particularly the famed Shree Anna millets—has opened up new avenues for global market access.
