Bhubaneswar, Jan 3: A home guard, identified as Basudev Mansingh reportedly died while taking part in a refreshers’ course training at the Police Reserve Ground in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday.
Basudev was associated with the Airfield Police Station in Bhubaneswar from where he was sent for a refreshers’ training camp.
The reason behind his death is yet to be ascertained as no comments in this regard were received from the authorities of the training centre.
Following the incident, his body was taken to the Capital Hospital for post-mortem. Meanwhile, Saheed Nagar Police started an investigation into the sudden death of the person.
