Bhubaneswar, November 13: Ahead of President Droupadi Murmu's visit to Odisha on November 27, the state government held two high-level meetings to finalize preparations.

The first meeting, chaired by Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja, focused on logistics and security for the President’s transit through Jharsuguda on November 20. President Murmu will arrive in Jharsuguda at 10:05 AM on November 20 and travel by helicopter to Ambikapur in Chhattisgarh for the Jan Jatiya Gaurav Divas celebration.

The second meeting, held at the Odisha Legislative Assembly under Speaker Surama Padhy, reviewed arrangements for her Odisha visit. On November 27, the President will land in Bhubaneswar at 2:00 PM and attend a series of engagements, including the inauguration of the Kalinga Guest House, an address to the Assembly, and a dinner at Raj Bhavan. She will depart for Lucknow on November 28.

Discussions included security, medical support, power and water supply, and traffic management. Chief Secretary Ahuja urged all departments and police to ensure smooth coordination during the visit.
