Jagatsinghpur, May 28: Tension gripped the DRDA office in Jagatsinghpur district after a secret camera was allegedly found installed inside the women’s washroom at Tirtol. The incident came to light after the camera was recovered, triggering concern among staff and local authorities.

Following the incident, a complaint was lodged at Tirtol Police Station and an investigation has been initiated. Police are trying to ascertain who installed the hidden camera and whether any staff members were involved in the act.

Jagatsinghpur Zilla Parishad President Manoj Bhoi condemned the incident, calling it highly shameful and unacceptable for both the district and the state. He said a complaint has also been submitted to the SP and demanded strict action against those responsible.

Police said the investigation is underway and stringent action will be taken against all persons found involved in the incident.
