Hockey fever is set to grip Odisha once again as the final leg of the Hero Hockey India League 2025-2026 moves to its spiritual home. Starting today at 11:00 AM, fans can officially secure their spots for the matches held at the iconic Kalinga Hockey Stadium. In a move that has delighted sports enthusiasts, Hockey India announced that all tickets for this phase will be available entirely free of cost.

Bhubaneswar will host the tournament’s concluding matches starting January 17, with the high-stakes grand finale scheduled for Republic Day, January 26. By removing the entry fee, organizers hope to ensure a packed house and a vibrant atmosphere for the players. Dr. Dilip Tirkey, Chairperson of the HIL Governing Committee, shared that the excitement in the region is palpable. He believes that offering free admission will encourage families and young fans from across Odisha to flock to the stadium and witness world-class talent in person.

The revamped league features eight men's and four women's teams, delivering a fast-paced version of the sport. As of now, the Vedanta Kalinga Lancers are leading the charge in the men's division following their strong performance in Chennai. On the women’s side, the SG Pipers have already cemented their status as finalists.

Fans eager to attend can book their Hero Hockey India League tickets through the Ticket Genie web portal or their mobile app. This digital booking system ensures that access to these international-standard matches remains easy and transparent for everyone.

Bhola Nath Singh, a member of the HIL governing committee, emphasized that the goal is to expand the sport's reach under the "Hockey Ka Jashn" initiative. For those unable to reach the stadium, the matches will be broadcast live on Sony Sports Ten 1, Sony Sports Ten 3, and DD Sports. Additionally, fans can stream the action on the Waves app or the official Hockey India League YouTube channel.
