Bhubaneswar, June 26: The regional meteorological department has forecasted heavy rainfall in seven districts on Wednesday, owing to a cyclonic circulation over the Bay of Bengal.
According to reports, light to moderate rainfall is anticipated to continue across the state for the next five days in Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, and Sundergarh. The coastal regions of Odisha are likely to experience intermittent rainfall today.
On June 27, the regional weather department has issued a yellow warning for Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Nabarangpur, Balangir, Nuapada, and Bargarh districts.
Similarly, heavy to very heavy rains are expected in Sambalpur and Bargarh districts, and heavy rains are forecasted for Angul, Khurda, Nayagarh, Boudh, Subarnapur, Ganjam, Gajapati, Keonjhar, and Mayurbhanj districts on June 29.
