Heat wave warning issued in Odisha for next 3 days

Bhubaneswar, Ap 4: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) in Bhubaneswar has issued yellow warnings for heat wave conditions in 11 districts of Odisha for the next three days.

According to recent weather forecasts, eleven districts in Odisha are bracing for extreme weather conditions. Nayagarh, Boudh, Kandhamal, Cuttack, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Bolangir, Kalahandi, Malkangiri, Koraput, and Dhenkanal are expected to experience intense heatwave conditions during the daytime. These districts will experience severe humidity during night.

Residents are advised to take precautionary measures to cope with the harsh weather. 

Local authorities have urged residents to stay hydrated, prolonged exposure to the sun, and ensuring proper ventilation

Meanwhile, IMD has advised people to take precautionary measures while going out during the daytime between 11 am and 3 pm.
