New Delhi, Dec 6: In a terrific incident, at least 11 innocent people including 2 minors, were shot dead in South Africa on Saturday while they were enjoying a diner.

The fateful incident took place in South Africa's capital, Pretoria City in the evening.

According to reports, unidentified gunmen barged into a hostel and killed 11 people, including a three-year-old child.

At least 25 people were shot out of which 11 succumbed to firing while 14 were taken to the hospital for resuscitation.

Ten had died at the scene in Saulsville township, 18 kilometres (11 miles) west of Pretoria, while another died in hospital, confirmed a police officer while briefing the incident before presser.

Police have initiated an investigation into the brutal incident. However, reason behind the massacre and the miscreants’ identification are yet to be ascertained.
