Goods auto carrying SHG members topples in Keonjhar, 14 women injured

Patna, Feb 26: As many as 14 women SHG workers were injured after the goods carrier in which they were travelling toppled near Khunchibeda, in-between Patna-Karanjia road in Keonjhar district today. According to locals, the women SHG workers of Saharpada block were going for a meeting in Kupundi village in the vehicle. Due to heavy load, the vehicle lost its balance and overturned near Khunchibeda. On being informed the fire officials reached the spot and admitted the injured to the Community Healthcare Centre in Patna. Four of the 14 injured women have sustained critical injuries. However, the driver of the auto has absconded from the place.
