Keonjhar, Dec 18: A female guest lecturer from Government Women’s College in Keonjhar, Priyanka Das, was found dead under mysterious circumstances at the house of a male friend. Priyanka, aged 28 and a resident of Talapada village in Balasore district, had been working as a guest faculty in the Home Science department for the past two years. She had been living in a rented accommodation near Nirmala Convent School on Mining Road, where she reportedly shared the house with Rudranarayan Mishra, a local resident aged 45.

Priyanka’s family has raised serious concerns about her death, alleging foul play. They pointed to visible injury marks on her neck, suggesting she may have been murdered. They have demanded a thorough investigation into the matter to uncover the truth. Following the allegations, the police have detained Rudranarayan Mishra for questioning and sent Priyanka’s body for post-mortem to determine the exact cause of death.

The incident has created a wave of shock and outrage in the local community, with the family calling for justice and severe action against those responsible. Authorities have assured that the investigation will be conducted with full transparency, and any culprits will be held responsible.
