Dhenkanal, Feb 8: In a ghastly incident, a drunk man brutally killed his young son in Dhenkanal, Odisha on Sunday.

The incident took place at Kampulei village under the Kankadahad Police limit.

The deceased has been identified as Khirod Sahu and the sinful father is Bibhuti Sahu.

According to reports,an altercation took place on Saturday night between the father & son duo, over a past matter. Agrieved Bibhuti pelted bricks on Khirod that injured him seriously and forced him to knock the police station. However, the police allegedly did not address the issue with care. Meanwhile, the matter was further escalated today while the drunk father stabbed Khirod to death.

On being informed, the police rushed to the spot and nabbed the accused person with sending the body seized from the spot, to hospital for medical examinations.
