Sambalpur, Nov 4: Gangadhar Meher University (GMU) in Sambalpur is set to offer a six-month Diploma in Happiness course starting from the next academic year, making it the first government-run institution in Odisha to introduce such a programme.
The course is designed to equip students with the skills to manage stress, build self-confidence, and maintain emotional balance critical tools in the face of rising mental health issues among the youth. With an increasing focus on mental well-being, GMU aims to help students explore and apply the various dimensions of happiness in their daily lives.
