Berhampur, Aug 11: The much-publicised dispute between Deepika and Dinesh from Berhampur has taken a fresh and dramatic turn, with Deepika lodging a new complaint accusing Dinesh of marrying another woman while their own marital issues remain unresolved.
According to sources, Deepika staged a protest during Dinesh’s wedding ceremony but was informed that the marriage had already taken place two days earlier. Yesterday marked his wedding reception. She then went to meet the Berhampur Superintendent of Police (SP) to lodge her complaint. As the SP was unavailable, she submitted her statement to the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP).
Deepika has demanded a thorough investigation into the matter, alleging that “men destroy women’s lives on false promises, leaving me with a child.”
The SP’s office has confirmed receiving her complaint, while sources stated that the matter will be investigated in detail. Dinesh is likely to be questioned once initial verification is completed.
It is worth noting that in 2021, Dinesh was arrested following Deepika’s allegations of rape against him. DNA samples from Deepika, her child, and Dinesh were collected at that time to verify her claims.
Deepika had previously made headlines last year when she staged a ‘dharna’ outside her boyfriend’s house at Desi Behera Sahi in Berhampur’s Bada Bazar area. This latest development once again brings the controversial case into the spotlight.
