Bhubaneswar, Apr 15: As many as four places in Odisha recorded temperature above 40 degree Celsius on Monday with Bhubaneswar boiling at 41.2 degree Celsius.
While Bhubaneswar was the hottest place with a maximum temperature of 41.2 degree Celsius, it was followed by Chandbali at 41.1 degree Celsius, Jharsuguda at 41 degree Celsius and Balasore at 40 degree Celsius.
The weather department predicted that maximum temperature (day temperature) is likely to rise gradually by 4 to 6 degree Celsius at many places across the state in the next four to five days.
Earlier today, the Met department had issued a yellow warning for Cuttack, Nayagarh, Dhenkanal, Bhadrak and Jajpur districts for today.
