New Delhi, December 14:Union Home Minister Amit Shah, along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP National President JP Nadda, congratulated Bihar Minister Nitin Nabin on his appointment as the BJP's National Working President. Shah hailed the appointment as a significant moment for the party and its workers, acknowledging Nabin's unwavering dedication.

The BJP Parliamentary Board has named Nabin as the new National Working President, succeeding Union Minister JP Nadda, who has led the party since January 2020.

In his message on X (formerly Twitter), Amit Shah expressed, "I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Nitin Nabin ji on his appointment as the National Working President by the BJP Parliamentary Board. Under the guidance of PM Modi, Nadda ji, and senior party leaders, Nabin has fulfilled various responsibilities with great success. His previous roles—such as National General Secretary of the BJP Yuva Morcha, State President of Bihar’s Youth Wing, and State In-Charge for Chhattisgarh—have shown his commitment to the party."

Shah also highlighted Nabin's extensive experience as a five-time MLA in Bihar. "With his long track record of public service and governance, Nabin is well-equipped for his new role. His elevation to National Working President is a tribute to every BJP worker's hard work," said Shah, offering his best wishes for Nabin’s tenure.

JP Nadda also congratulated Nabin, emphasizing his leadership qualities. “Nitin Nabin ji, hailing from the intellectual and cultural hub of Bihar, is a dynamic leader who brings years of experience to the BJP. Under the leadership of PM Modi and Nabin, I am confident that the party will scale new heights in its mission of nation-building and public service. I wish him a successful and prosperous tenure," said Nadda.

Nitin Nabin, the Minister of Road Construction in Bihar and a five-time MLA, is the son of veteran BJP leader Navin Kishore Prasad Sinha. A young and energetic face of the party, Nabin has served in several key roles, demonstrating his experience in governance and organizational leadership.

Bihar Chief Minister and NDA ally Nitish Kumar also congratulated Nabin, calling him a "dedicated and disciplined politician." “It is a moment of great pride for Bihar that Nitin Nabin has been appointed National Working President of the BJP. Having served as an MLA for five terms and as an active member of our Cabinet, Nabin has shown tremendous dedication. I am confident that his new role will strengthen the BJP further. I wish him excellent health and success,” Nitish Kumar wrote on X.

Nitin Nabin has held various ministerial positions in Bihar, including in the Road Construction, Urban Development, Housing, and Law Departments. His leadership roles within the BJP include serving as National Executive Committee Member of the BJP Yuva Morcha in 2008, and National General Secretary from 2010 to 2013. He also served as State President of the Yuva Morcha in Bihar from 2016-2019 and was the Election In-charge for Sikkim in 2019. In June 2019, he became the State BJP Organisation In-charge for Sikkim.
