Deogarh, March 27: Former Deogarh MP & 2-time Pallahara MLA Narayan Sahu is no more.
The veteran Congress leader passed away on Friday at 88 during treatment in a Private hospital at Bhubaneswar.
According to family sources, Sahu was suffering from geriatric related ailments for months. Meanwhile, he was under home care with medication. However, Sahu was rushed to hospital for medical attention yesterday, as he felt yet uneasy.He breathed his last during treatment today.
Sahu, a great fan of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, was elected MLA from Pallahara in 1971 and 1974. He was also elected as Deogarh MP in 1980 on Congress tickets.
