Bhubaneswar, Nov. 8: In a road mishap, veteran Odia Actor Ashrumochan Mohanty sustained injuries after his car skidded into a canal on Saturday.

The incident took place on the outskirt of Bhubaneswar City this morning.

Sources said, Mohanty was venturing out of the Capital City driving his car. Meanwhile, his speeding car plunged into the Daya West Canal near the Kalajhari village.  A car driven by Odia film actor Ashrumochan Mohanty lost control and plunged into the Daya West Canal near Kalajhari. The actor, however, had a close shave as he managed to come off the vehicle before it slipped off the canal embarkment.

The actor left for home after primary care, said the onlookers’ accounts.
