Patna, October 28: The Mahagathbandhan alliance, led by RJD and Congress, has unveiled its manifesto, Bihar Ka Tejashwi Pran, with major promises for Bihar's voters. Key promises include a law within 20 days to provide government jobs to one member of every family. Additionally, women will receive Rs 2,500 per month under the Mai-Behin Maan Yojana for the next five years, starting December 1.

The alliance also pledged to restore the Old Pension Scheme (OPS) and halt the Waqf (Amendment) Bill. They promised to boost reservations for Most Backward Classes (MBCs) and Scheduled Castes (SCs), while ensuring free electricity for every family (up to 200 units). Farmers will receive guaranteed minimum support prices for all crops, and free health insurance up to Rs 25 lakh under the Jan Swasthya Suraksha Yojana.

Tejashwi Yadav, the alliance's Chief Ministerial candidate, emphasized the alliance’s resolve to improve Bihar's future, contrasting their serious approach with the ruling NDA's "jumla" (empty promises). The Bihar elections will be held in two phases on November 6 and 11, with results expected on November 14.
