Odisha's Blind Cricket World Cup Winners Receive Special Honour from MGM Group

The Chairman and Managing Director of MGM Group, ShriPankaj Lochan Mohanty, recently hosted and celebrated four exceptionalOdisha women cricketerswho achieved a monumental feat by winning the inaugural Women’s T20 Blind World Cup. This event, held at theMGM Corporate Office Odishain Bhubaneswar on December 10, 2025, served to recognize their outstanding contribution to theIndian blind cricket team's historic victory.

These four players—Phula Saren fromBalasore and Mayurbhanj playersParvati Marndi, Jamuna Rani Tudu, and Basanti Hansda—were integral members of the national squad. The team secured the title after defeating Nepal by a decisive seven-wicket margin in the final match, which took place in Colombo.

Shri Mohanty personally greeted and commended the athletes for their dedication, tenacity, and inspiring performance on the global sports platform. He emphasized that theirhistoric winhas not only brought profound joy and recognition to the State of Odisha but has also elevated the prestige of the entire nation.
