Patnagarh, May 28:The much-anticipated verdict in the infamous Patnagarh parcel bomb blast case is set to be delivered today by the Additional District and Sessions Judge Court in Patnagarh.
Amid tight security arrangements, key accused Punjilal Meher was brought to the court from Balangir jail at around 8:20 AM. The courtroom witnessed the presence of government advocate Chittaranjan Kanungo, representing the victim’s family, while an associate of senior lawyer Pramod Mishra appeared on behalf of Punjilal.
As the region awaits justice, the victim’s family has expressed hope for a fair judgment. Meanwhile, Punjilal’s relatives continue to assert his innocence, claiming he has no involvement in the case.
The final ruling is expected to be announced shortly, drawing widespread attention across the district.
