THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, July 19: The Kerala government has declared a holiday on Monday for all schools and higher educational institutions across the state to mark the FIFA World Cup final, officials said on Sunday.
The decision was taken in response to requests from students, particularly football fans, who wanted to stay up late to watch the highly anticipated final on Sunday night.
