Bhubaneswar, Dec 4: The Ekamra project at Lord Lingaraj Temple is progressing rapidly and is expected to be completed soon. Ahead of the upcoming Mahashivaratri, priority is being given to completing the temple’s parking facilities and the illumination work on all four sides. Authorities aim to have the parking ready before the festival begins.

Efforts are also underway to restore the sanctity of Bindu Sagar, Devi Padahara and Papanasini. The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has been directed to provide the necessary funds for this work, while the acquisition of remaining land parcels will be handled separately.

Weekly updates on the progress of the AMP Theater Lecture Center construction project are being submitted to the relevant department. Officials have set a target to complete the entire Ekamra project by June next year, said Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan.
