Missing Pulwama Doctor Suspected as Bomber

The investigation into the deadly Red Fort blast that claimed nine lives has taken a shocking turn. Top police sources indicate the attack appears to be the work of the same "transnational and interstate" terror module that was recently busted by police in Faridabad.

The case is rapidly unravelling, with connections pointing towards a group of medical professionals allegedly linked to the Jaish-e-Mohammad module and Ansar Ghazwatul Hind (AGH).

Just days before the Delhi terror attack, J&K Police had arrested two doctors: Dr. Muzammil Ahmad Ganai from Pulwama and Dr. Adeel Majeed Rather from Qazigund. Dr. Ganai was employed at Al Falah Hospital in Faridabad. A search of his rented home in Dhauj village led to the seizure of a massive 358 kg cache of explosives, believed to be ammonium nitrate.

Now, authorities are in a frantic manhunt for a third doctor, Umar Nabi, who disappeared right after Dr. Ganai's arrest. Police sources strongly believe that Nabi, also a resident of Pulwama’s Koil village and a colleague of Ganai, is the bomber. He is allegedly the person captured on CCTV footage driving the Hyundai i20 used in the blast.

This Pulwama terror module appears to have heavily involved medical professionals. Reports suggest at least four doctors, including a woman from Lucknow who is also being questioned, were part of this cell.

Back in Jammu and Kashmir, the investigation is widening. Police have detained at least five people from different villages in Pulwama for questioning. Among them is Amir Rashid from Samboora village, who is believed to be the current owner of the car used in the explosion. His brother has also been taken into custody as police work to connect all the dots in this complex and alarming case of doctors linked to terror.
