Bhubaneswar, Nov 5: The India Meteorological Department's regional center in Bhubaneswar issued a weather forecast for Sunday, predicting the likelihood of light to moderate rain or thundershowers in a few spots across coastal districts in Odisha, including Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal, Boudh, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Koraput, and Malkangiri.
The weather in the remaining districts is expected to remain dry. Over the next two days, there is not likely to be any significant change in minimum temperatures (night temperatures), but a gradual drop of 3°C-4°C is anticipated in many areas of Odisha thereafter.
In terms of temperature records from the past 24 hours, Titlagarh reported the highest maximum temperature at 35.5°C, while Phulbani and Boudh marked the lowest minimum temperature at 18.5°C in the plains of Odisha.
