Jharsuguda, Nov 20: Security at Jharsuguda Airport has been significantly ramped up in preparation for the visit of President Droupadi Murmu today. The District Magistrate and Collector of Jharsuguda, Chavan Kunal Motiram, has declared the Veer Surendra Sai (VSS) Airport and its surrounding a ‘No-Flying Zone’ to ensure the safety of the President’s visit.

The President is expected to arrive at Jharsuguda Airport at 10:05 AM today, flying in from Delhi aboard a special Air Force aircraft. Following her arrival, she will travel by helicopter to Ambikapur in Chhattisgarh to attend an official event. Afterward, she will return to Jharsuguda Airport at 1:35 PM via helicopter.

At 1:45 PM, the President will depart from Jharsuguda for Tirupati. To ensure the highest level of security throughout the visit, 12 platoons of forces have been deployed around the airport to safeguard the area.
