 
                             
                                 
                            
Bhubaneswar, October 28: In view of the approaching Cyclone ‘Montha’ and to ensure the safety of passengers and train operations, Khurda Road Division has opened Helpdesks at Palasa, Khurda Road and Bhubaneswar, said an official release
According to an East Coast Railway statement, the Waltair Division has also established Helpdesks at Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam Road, Duvvada and at Rayagada.
Meanwhile, 42 trains have been cancelled, two trains have diverted, five trains have been short-terminated/short-originated, and 8 trains have been rescheduled in view of the weather system.
Among important trains, 11020 Konark Express was also cancelled today.
The East Coast Railway urged passengers to check the latest train status before commencing their journey and to avoid unnecessary travel during the cyclone period.
