Bhubaneswar, Jan 10: Chief Secretary Anu Garg has stepped into action mode, announcing that he will conduct a monthly video conference with all District Collectors on the 16th of every month. The meetings aim to review critical government projects and initiatives at the district level.

Each session will include a detailed review of key plans and programs across various departments. District Collectors are required to attend, with each department allotted 30 minutes to present progress and discuss urgent matters.

Departments will deliver PowerPoint presentations limited to 10 minutes and a maximum of 7 slides, ensuring concise and focused discussions. The topics for discussion will be shared with all District Collectors in advance, allowing them to prepare thoroughly.

Additionally, departments have been instructed to send information on district-specific urgent issues and challenges to the Planning and Coordination Department by the 8th of each month. However, if the 16th falls on a holiday or a Monday, the meeting will not be held.

These monthly reviews are expected to strengthen administrative oversight and ensure timely resolution of critical issues at the district level.
