Bhubaneswar, February 9: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, on Monday, accompanied by cabinet ministers, heard the 17th public grievances session at the Chief Minister’s Grievance Cell in Bhubaneswar. As part of his routine, the CM met with 32 differently-abled individuals, listening to their concerns and ensuring the resolution of their issues.

Among the beneficiaries, Brajakishore Bandha from Bhadrak received Rs 1 lakh for medical treatment, and Kartik C from Jajpur was granted Rs 1.5 lakh. Tilattama Pandey, suffering from kidney and neurological diseases, was assured of medical assistance and travel expenses.

The CM personally interacted with all complainants, particularly those with serious health conditions, and directed officials to address their needs. Since the start of the grievance redressal program, 94% of the 14,054 complaints received have been resolved.

In his statement, the Chief Minister emphasized that grievance redressal remains a key priority for the government, with instructions given to officials across all levels to prioritize public complaints. Ministers including Prithviraj Harichandan, Dr. Krushna Chandra Mohapatra, Dr. Mukesh Mahaling, Nityananda Gond, and Rabi Narayan Naik were present during the session.
