Bhubaneswar, Aug 13: To provide more comfortable travel facilities to passengers and to cater to the increased rush of commuters during the upcoming week, Indian Railways has decided to temporarily augment additional coaches in several important express trains.
Train No. 12837 Howrah–Puri Express will be augmented with one Sleeper Class coach from August 15 to August 21.
Train No. 18030 Shalimar–Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express will be augmented with one 3rd AC and one Sleeper Class coach during the period.
Train No. 18039 Shalimar–Puri Express will be augmented with two Sleeper Class coaches on August 16.
Train No. 18045 Shalimar–Charlapalli Express will be augmented with one 3rd AC coach from August 15 to August 21.
Train No. 18063 Santragachi–Yelahanka Express will be augmented with one 3rd AC coach on August 20.
Train No. 18107 Rourkela–Jagdalpur Express will be augmented with one Sleeper Class coach on 15th and 16th August.
The temporary augmentation of coaches will provide additional berths to passengers traveling on these important routes and help accommodate the growing travel demand during the period, said East Coast Railway (ECoR).
