Bhubaneswar, March 10: Rabindra Kumar Jena, the former Member of Parliament from Balasore, resigned from the primary membership of the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) on Tuesday. Jena submitted his resignation to BJD President and former Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

In his resignation letter, Jena cited personal reasons and circumstances as the basis for his decision to leave the party. He also requested to be relieved immediately from all party-related responsibilities.
