Bhubaneswar, September 2: The East Coast Railway (ECoR) has revised the timings of seven trains to facilitate smooth train operations, said an official release.
The revised timings will come into effect from the respective dates of journey commencement.
According to an ECoR statement, the 15027 Sambalpur–Gorakhpur Maurya Express will depart from Sambalpur at 09:05 hrs instead of 09:20 hrs and will arrive at Rengali at 09:28 hrs instead of 09:39 hrs, departing at 09:30 hrs instead of 09:41 hrs. These revised timings will be effective from October 28.
The 15028 Gorakhpur –Sambalpur Maurya Express will arrive at Sambalpur at 14:50 hrs instead of 14:40 hrs, with the revised timing applicable from September 4.
Similarly, the 12893 Bhubaneswar–Purunakatak Intercity Express will arrive at Purunakatak at 17:10 hrs instead of 17:00 hrs, effective from September 4.
For the 12894 Purunakatak–Bhubaneswar Intercity Express, the departure from Purunakatak will be at 11:15 hrs instead of 11:25 hrs.
The train will arrive at and depart from Biranarsinghpur at 11:30/11:32 hrs, Boudh at 11:45/11:50 hrs, Jharamunda at 12:02/12:04 hrs, Puranapani at 12:20/12:22 hrs, Sonepur at 12:35/12:40 hrs, Narasinghgarh at 12:55/12:57 hrs, Jhartarbha at 13:10/13:12 hrs and Bichhupali at 13:25/13:27 hrs. These changes will come into effect from October 28.
The 18314 Bhubaneswar New–Boudh Weekly Express will arrive at Boudh at 10:45 hrs instead of 10:30 hrs, effective from September 7.
Similarly, the 18421 Puri–Sonepur Weekly Express will arrive at Sonepur at 06:00 hrs instead of 05:50 hrs, effective from September 3.
Further, the 18422 Sonepur–Puri Weekly Express will depart from Sonepur at 18:45 hrs instead of 19:00 hrs. Its revised timings at Narasinghgarh, Jhartarbha and Bichhupali will be 18:55/18:57 hrs, 19:06/19:08 hrs and 19:20/19:22 hrs respectively. These revised timings will be effective from October 30.
The ECoR urges passengers to visit the National Train Enquiry System (NTES) or use official railway enquiry services before commencing their journey.
