Earthquake of magnitude 3.9 jolts Rajasthan's Pratapgarh

Pratapgarh (Rajasthan), Aug 7: The National Centre for Seismology (NCS) said that a mild earthquake with a magnitude of 3.9 hit Rajasthan's Pratapgarh district on Wednesday morning.
The earthquake struck at 10:07 AM on Thursday, with a depth of 10 km below the surface.
Taking to its official ‘X’ handle, NCS wrote, “EQ of M: 3.9, On: 07/08/2025 10:07:02 IST, Lat: 24.09 N, Long: 74.88 E, Depth: 10 Km, Location: Pratapgarh, Rajasthan.”
