Ahead of the festive season, the Cuttack DCP released a helpline number for citizens of Cuttackto report extortion, and street crime in the city.

Cuttack, Oct 12: Ahead of the festive season, the Cuttack DCP released a helpline number for citizens of Cuttackto report extortion, and street crime in the city.

The Commissionerate Police has urged people to lodge their complaints regarding extortion through helpline numbers 8763068167 and 6370701550.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Pinak Mishra said the Commissionerate Police will adopt a zero-tolerance policy towards extortion during the festival season.

The DCP assured not to reveal the identity of the informers.
