Bhubaneswar, Nov 5: At least two people were seriously injured when their car collided with a traffic post at Damana Square in Bhubaneswar late Monday night.

 Moreover, the driver's car rammed into a traffic post, causing significant damage and leaving another person and a woman inside the car critically injured.

Being informed, Chandrasekharpur police reached the spot and shifted the injured to a hospital. Their condition is reported to be critical. The police have also seized the vehicle involved in the collision.

According to the eyewitness, the car traveling at a high speed from Kelucharan Park, lost control over the wheel, struck the traffic post before careening into the divider and colliding with a pole. Both the driver and the woman in the car appeared to be intoxicated.

Further investigation is underway.
