Nuapada, Mar 22: In a tragic incident, a driver was charred to death after two trucks collided in Sinapali block of Odisha’s Nuapada district on Thursday night. The incident occurred on Biju Expressway near Jogenpadar Chowk of Chatiaguda under Sinapali police limits around 2 am.
The deceased has been identified as Mouslim Khan.
Both trucks were owned by a single owner from Rajasthan and were carrying aluminum. They were traveling back to back from Jharsuguda when the driver of the front truck suddenly hit the brakes, causing a rear-end collision with the truck following behind. The collision was so severe that the trailing truck caught fire, resulting in the tragic death of its driver in the flames
Being informed, Fire Service personnel reached the spot and doused the flame. Later, they retrieved the body and sent to the Community Health Center for postmortem.
