Guyana, June 28: India will face South Africa in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 Final on Saturday.
England's defence of their T20 World Cup title came to an end as Team India secured a convincing victory in the semi-final, here on Thursday, winning by 68 runs.
Despite some unconvincing performances earlier in the tournament, Jos Buttler's side managed to advance from the Super Eights, with Buttler himself scoring an unbeaten 83 against the USA and a hat-trick from Chris Jordan showcasing their strength.
However, they were unable to overcome the formidable Indian team, who have remained unbeaten throughout the tournament. India posted a score of 171/7, while England were bowled out for just 103 in response.
